2015 Monthly Feature

Hagerman muralMarch's Cenozoic life and landscapes feature partner is Hagerman Fossil Beds National Monument in Idaho. The monument preserves one of the most diverse fossil sites from the Pliocene, about 3 million years ago. Hagerman is famous for its horse fossils but hundreds of other fossil plants, animals, and even crayfish gastroliths contribute to its stories.
