Bueyeros Shortgrass Plains
Bueyeros Shortgrass Plains is an example of the blue grama-buffalograss prairie of the Great Plains and is considered to be representative of the pre-cattle grazing era. Two of the three dominant natural grazing animals, antelope and prairie dogs, are still in the area.
